# Create a Script

Robot programs can be created and edited inside Robpod Studio as **script** files. To create your first robot script:

1. Right click on **project folder ->  New -> UR Script File** or **Doosan Script File.**

2. Enter the name of your script file.
3. Start [editing ](https://docs.robpod.cloud/advanced-scripting)the robot script.

Each robot brand has his own associated script type. Unviseral Robots is associated with the **.script** file type and Doosan Robotics with **.py** file type.
